DEAR PIERCE
DEAR PIERCE tells the story of 14-year-old NISA, who grows up in Tyrol in the mid-1990s between a youth home and the precarious home of her mentally ill mother. Nisa is a quiet, intelligent girl who takes on responsibility at an early age—for her schizophrenic mother MARTHA (played by Verena Altenberger), who fluctuates between delusions and breakdowns, and for her older sister DORIS, who is slowly drifting into criminal structures.
